Fuzion Errata

PG 55:

A few months ago this was sent over to us as an amendment for Fuzion and we think it works really well. I like to call it:

Norbert's Law

The following paragraph can be used as a "patch" instead of the rules on the bottom of page 55, under the heading Recovering from Dying:

Saving a dying character is still possible. Another character, making a successful Medical or First Aid roll can stabilize you at any point below  [except of course -2x BODY and lower].
The Difficulty for this is given as a DV according to the following equation:

1) Standard Fuzion Option:    Medical/First Aid versus
Less than -1x BODY       DV: 18
-1x to one less than -2x BODY    DV: 26
-2x BODY and lower   Resurrection Spell.

2) The Superhero Option:
For the Champions option, where a character had to lose HITS until he was at -5x his BODY to be "Dead Dead", not at -2x BODY, my equation looks like this:
Less than -1x BODY DV: 18  Competent
-1x BODY and below DV: 22  Heroic
-2x BODY and below   DV: 26  Incredible
-3x BODY and below DV: 30  Legendary
-4x BODY and below DV: 34  Superheroic
-5x BODY and below DV: None, or Resurrection spell.

I just think the old rule was especially funny because a character with BODY 4 who was at -2 Hits entailed a Difficulty Value of only 2x2 = DV 4 for the healer, and _everybody_ can make a DV 4 even with big penalties!
On the other hand, my superhero with BODY 22 who was wounded and down to -34 Hits would cause a DV of 68 if making it "twice the number of Hits taken into the negatives".
The hero is tough as nails, but nobody can make a DV 68.
So, the drawback was that the higher your BODY went up, the lower were your chances of surviving the first aid when below zero Hits. I saw that this was not intended in the system, so I patched it up.
